Christmas Wishes from His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire
The Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Mr Edward Harley CBE, sends his Christmas Wishes
"It was wonderful to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla in May. Herefordshire rose to the occasion and celebrated in style with street parties and services across the county. The King presented a tree to mark this event to all Lord-Lieutenants and this has been planted, most appropriately, in the county’s country park at Queenswood. The Prince and Princess of Wales also visited Herefordshire during the year. They showed great interest in the activities of The Duchy of Cornwall in the county as well as visiting two important and impactful charity initiatives. At a time when there is so much trouble in the world, we are fortunate to have such a dedicated Royal Family.
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2024."
Edward Harley
