Invoice payment performance

Payment performance in line with the Public Contracts Legislation 2015

All contracting authorities are required to publish annual performance data demonstrating their performance on paying invoices in 30 days to first tier suppliers and prime contractors over the previous 12 months. The data will show:

  • Percentage of invoices paid within 28 days
  • The amount of interest paid to suppliers due to late payment
  • The total amount of interest that the contracting authority was liable to pay, for example whether or not paid, whether statutory or otherwise, due to a breach of the Regulations
