Directions
Coming from Ross, from the roundabout at Wilton, take the A49 north for nine miles until you see a sign for Callow on the left. Turn off down that road and follow it for a mile until you enter the village of Callow. Follow the road round to the left passing the church on your right and it is the first turning on the left.
From Hereford, come south down the A49 and pass the car showrooms near the turning to Grafton and Callow, ignoring that turn. Continue until you see a second sign for Callow, turning right off the road. Turn here and follow the single track road up the hill until you reach the top with the church on your right. Turn right and the Hall is the first on the left.

The What3Words location of the entrance is ///plot.crowd.moons.

Other information

Callow Parish Hall is the only public meeting place in the Group Parish of Callow and Haywood, which comprises the villages of Callow, Dewsall, Grafton, Haywood and parts of both Twyford and Bullinghope.

The Parish Hall, just over the road from St Mary’s Church, Callow, was originally the village school. When the school closed in 1953, a group of local farmers clubbed together and formed a committee to help raise the money from the parish to buy it for use as a meeting place.

The Parish Hall is run by a small committee of volunteers. These events are largely chosen based on feedback from a questionnaire delivered to parishioners in January 2023 and feedback collected at subsequent events. If you are interested in coming along to events – whether you are a parishioner or not (all are welcome!) – and have not already filled in the questionnaire, please do so by going to https://callowparishhall.org.uk/questionnaire/.

You can join our contact email list and get advance notice of all our events.

There is a Defibrillator on the rear outside wall, complete with instructions.

The Parish Hall is well equipped and available for hire for events by members of the public or local businesses.

All future events in the Parish Hall are shown on our events calendar at https://callowparishhall.org.uk/events-calendar/.

The Parish Hall is registered with the Charities Commission with Charity Number 520942.
