To help make homes and businesses more resilient to future flooding.
- Who can apply

The funding is available if as a result of Storm Henk:
- The habitable living or business areas of your property have been damaged by floodwater entering the property, or where drying out and/or repairs to the fabric of the building have been necessary.
- Who is not eligible to apply

If your property wasn't flooded between 2 and 12 January 2024 (Storm Henk), your property is not eligible for the grant.
Properties that have previously received a PFR grant are not eligible for further support except in exceptional cases.
The following buildings are usually not eligible for the scheme:
- Garages
- Outhouses and storage areas
- Second homes
- Empty homes
- Basements or cellars not used as part of the habitable or business area of a property

To fund measures to either keep water from entering a property or reduce the damage water can do once it enters a property.
- How much you can apply for

Grants of up to £5,000 (including VAT) will be paid retrospectively to the property owner, once the council receives proof of the completed installation and invoicing for the approved measures.
