Summer Reading Challenge
Get ready for the Summer Reading Challenge 2024
Unleash Your Creativity with the Marvellous Makers Summer Reading Challenge!
The Summer Reading Challenge returns with an exciting new theme for 2024 - Marvellous Makers! Developed by The Reading Agency in partnership with the charity Create, this year's Challenge celebrates children's creativity and storytelling abilities.
The challenge is delivered in partnership with public libraries, helping primary school-aged children to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure. It's free to take part, and children can sign up at their local library or online.
Marvellous Makers is available from the Summer Reading Challenge website from 22 June and free in libraries across Herefordshire from Saturday 6 July until Saturday 7 September 2024.
Visit the library to collect a Marvellous Makers Challenge bag. The bag will contain all the items needed to complete the challenge, including some great rewards.
Get inspired by brilliant books and unleash your creativity on your reading journey and don't forget to collect your certificate and medal from the library once your journey is complete.
