The Police and Crime Commissioner elections take place on Thursday 6 May 2021
If you are not registered or have recently moved house, you will need to register to vote for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections.
The deadline to register to vote for the upcoming elections is midnight on Monday 19 April 2021, but it only takes 5 minutes to register.
Polling stations will be open and fully covid-secure on Thursday 6 May 2021. Watch our video of what to expect when you go to vote and how we will be ensuring stations are safe.
If you would prefer not to go to the polling station, or are unable to get to there on 6 May there are other voting options available:
- Download an application form to apply for a postal vote. The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on 20 April 2021.
- Download an application form to apply for a proxy vote (someone to vote on your behalf). The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on 27 April 2021.
You must be registered to vote first to apply for a postal or proxy vote.
