The council’s pre-application planning advice service will be switching over to a new system this month.
This upgrade is part of the ongoing transformation of Planning & Building Control, which is based on extensive feedback from users, and will enable us to deliver on our commitment to offer the best possible service for the public.
The new web page and digital application form will offer automatic quotes tailored to the applicant, meaning an improved and less complicated service for the user, and increased efficiency within council services.
This means the service will be unavailable from Wednesday 11 September. There will then be a two-week period to allow officers to process all current applications, before the new system launches on Wednesday 25 September.
We would like to thank users for their patience while we introduce this new and improved system to our service.
