We’re inviting you to have your say on pharmacy services in Herefordshire
Our pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) survey is open and it’s your chance to share your thoughts on the pharmacy services available in our county.
Conducted every three years this survey helps us to understand how well pharmacy services meet the needs of local residents and highlights areas for improvement.
The county’s pharmacies are essential for many people in Herefordshire, whether for advice, daily prescriptions, or quick access to healthcare.
That’s why we need your help to understand what works and what needs improving
In the previous PNA, you told us:
- Location and accessibility are vital, services need to be easy to reach by different types of transport.
- Privacy matters, a welcoming environment and private consultation spaces improve the experience.
- Pharmacists are trusted professionals who are valued for their knowledge and approachable nature.
- Barriers to access still exist, including limited opening hours and disruptions to time-sensitive services like daily medication dispensing.
- Technology is growing in importance, many rely on digital tools to access services more conveniently.
Your feedback shaped the changes we made, and now we want to hear from you again to build on this progress.
If you live or work in Herefordshire and use pharmacy services, we want to hear from you. Your views will help us identify gaps in the current provision and shape improvements for the future.
Cate Carmichael, Director of Public Health, Herefordshire, said:
