Herefordshire’s transition to adopting JustPark as its cashless parking provider is proving successful, with over 32,400 bookings completed so far.

The partnership between Herefordshire Council and JustPark launched in January, and has been used by more than 14,000 individuals, with user ratings averaging 4.55 out of 5 across 390 responses.

For those yet to use the app, parking sessions can be booked via the JustPark app, available on iOS and Android, which is free to download and is rated highly for its simplicity and ease of use. Payment through the JustPark website and via calling a local rate number - 01432 805339 - is also available, ensuring residents can pay using their preferred method.

In addition to using JustPark for drive-up parking needs in Herefordshire’s on-street spaces and off-street car parks, those using the JustPark app and website also gain access to JustPark’s nationwide marketplace of pre-bookable spaces, ideal for attending events or travelling further afield.

To make using JustPark even easier, there is a ‘how to’ guide available on the Herefordshire Council website.

“Cllr Barry Durkin, Cabinet Member for Roads and Regulatory Services at Herefordshire Council, said: "It is pleasing to see our partnership with JustPark providing immediate benefits to Herefordshire’s residents and many visitors. The figures from the first month show that most people have adjusted to the switch easily, and the ratings show they are happy with the service. It is our job to make sure this continues, as part of our commitment to improving parking services in the county.

“I would encourage those who haven’t used the app yet to take a look at the handy ‘how to’ guide on our website, which helps to make your parking experience even smoother.

“As well as JustPark, I would like to reassure motorists that their parking may also still be paid for by cash and with cards.”

JustPark is the UK’s most trusted parking app, used by over 13 million drivers. For more information on JustPark, visit www.justpark.com
