Families looking for a free, fun way to entertain their kids this Easter need look no further than the Old House Hereford.

‘Blooming Bliss: Spring Flowers’ is a joyful celebration of the season that offers families with children aged three and over lots of hands-on activities, creative crafts and a fun spring trail through one of Hereford’s most historic buildings.

The programme runs from Saturday 12 April to Sunday 27 April and all activities are included with admission to the Old House. There is no need to pre-book and entrance is completely free for the under 16s (all children must be accompanied by an adult).

The activities on offer include:

  • Spring trail: pick up a trail sheet and explore the House on a gentle adventure, filled with springtime clues, sights and surprises.
  • Easter card making (Wednesday 16 April, 10am-4pm): create your own beautiful Easter card using vibrant papers, textures and colours. A self-led craft station perfect for little hands and big imaginations.
  • Easter badge making (Wednesday 23 April, 10am-4pm): design and take home a bright, floral-themed badge. A fun, easy make that children can wear with pride.

Whether you’re popping in for a quick activity or making a full day of it, the Old House offers a warm welcome, a cosy atmosphere and a chance for families to get creative together. Located in the centre of Hereford city, it’s perfect for you also to explore and enjoy everything else High Town has to offer this Easter.
