As part of the planning pre-application service you can purchase additional professional consultee services, as necessary for your project.
This specialist advice is only available as part of the pre-application planning service, and you must request and pay for it when you submit your pre-app.
As you complete the pre-app form, you will be offered only the specialist advice which may be relevant to your development category and the service selected.
We can only provide consultee advice in relation to the information you submit. Depending on the development category and advice you request, we will require you to submit additional documents and reports.
Agricultural Advice
Categories 1-6: Fee £820
Highways and Transport Advice
- Categories 1-2: Fee £130
- Category 3: Fee £325
- Category 4: Fee £520
- Category 5: Fee £650
- Category 6: Fee £1170
Additional information to provide for highways and transport advice:
- Levels of car parking (Categories 4-6)
- For non-residential developments: type and size of vehicles likely to visit the site (Categories 4-6)
- Proposed traffic modelling parameters (Categories 5-6)

- Categories 1-3: Fee £130
- Categories 4-6: Fee £260
Built and Natural Environment Service (BNES) (Heritage & Listed Buildings, Archaeology, Ecology, Landscape, Trees, and Public Open Space provision)
- Category 1: Fee £130
- Categories 2-3: Fee £260
- Categories 4-6: Fee £520
Environmental Health Advice (EH) (Air quality, Land contamination, Nuisance, including light, odour, noise, dust, pollution, pests)
