The artwork for Hereford's Union Passage is inspired by her time at Hereford College of Arts 10 years ago, and the abundance of memories that came when she visited the city again: "I went to art college here and all these different memories were triggered whilst walking around. So I figured doing the phrase 'Every corner holds a memory' would be quite a nice phrase to use."
The patchwork aesthetic of the buildings around Hereford city centre inspired the bold, typographic work: "As the area is on a walkway that bends around the corner, I wanted to make a piece that was typographical, stretching the 30 metre length of wall, but also that each letter could have its own moment and be structural to match with the building aesthetic around Hereford."
Estée hopes the mural will have a positive impact on local people: "Projects like this have a great impact on the local community, especially families and people visiting the centre. More people engage with art than you actually realise. It often has significance in people's personal lives and just having a better quality area to live in is so important."
This artwork is no. 3 on the Hereford Public Art Trail.
