Ceremony and civil partnership fees
It is your responsibility to ensure that you pay the full correct fee at least three months before your ceremony.
For ceremonies booked less than three months in advance, you will need to pay the full amount at the time of booking.
You cannot pay fees on the day of your ceremony. We are unable to accept part payments.
The fees stated below do not include the cost of your marriage or civil partnership certificates, which will need to be paid for separately.
You can pay online for a ceremony (choose Registrars - Ceremonies from the list).

Commemorative certificates
As marriage and civil partnership certificates cannot be issued on the day of the ceremony, we offer a commemorative certificate that can. These certificates do not carry any legal status but provide immediate recognition of the ceremony that has just taken place. Commemorative certificates can be requested in advance and cost £12 each.
We also have a range of certificate boxes available, which make a lovely memento of your day and a beautiful way to keep your certificate safe. Certificate boxes can be purchased at the Register Office, or can be ordered in advance to be provided on the day of your ceremony. Each box costs £9.
