Grayson Perry: The Vanity of Small Differences

In December 2021, Hereford Art Gallery hosted Grayson Perry's The Vanity of Small Differences, a collection of six tapestries inspired by William Hogarth's A Rake's Progress. The exhibition explored themes of class mobility and the influence of social class on aesthetic taste.

We invited creative responses from the community, which resulted in the Herefordshire Gets Creative Exhibition. You can now view this work:

Ice Age Herefordshire Virtual Exhibition

  • The formation of kettle holes or "Ice Age Ponds."
  • The discovery of King Arthur's Cave and the fascinating animals that lived there.
  • How the Ice Age shaped Herefordshire's landscapes.

This exhibition was part of a National Lottery-funded collaboration with organisations including Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, Hereford College of Art, and Herefordshire Earth Heritage Trust.
