Horse and rider brooch. The design shows a person with spear on horseback. The design is depicted in coloured enamels of red, blue and yellow. Horse and rider brooches are often found in association with temple sites so may have religious significance. There is a possible connection with Epona the Celtic horse goddess. This brooch was found at Magnis, Kenchester, and dates to the 2nd century
