Appeal a planning decision
If we've turned down your planning application you can make adjustments to the plans and resubmit to see if we can reach an agreement. If that is not possible, you can appeal the planning decision, within set time limits.
You can appeal against a decision if we:
-
Refuse your application
-
Give you permission, but add conditions you think are unreasonable
-
Don't make a decision within the agreed deadline (8 weeks or 13 weeks unless you have agreed to an extension)
-
Serve an enforcement notice (because we think you have done something without permission) and you don't agree.
Read more about the appeals process and make, or search for an appeal on the government's Planning Inspectorate pages
